Domiciliary Senior Care Assistant
Location: Reading
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, alternate weekends
Requirements: A valid driving license and access to your own car

Are you a compassionate, experienced care professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a Domiciliary Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team, delivering high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes.

About the Role:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in overseeing the delivery of care services, ensuring that our clients receive the support they need to live independently and comfortably. You'll support a team of care assistants, acting as a role model and ensuring the highest standards of care.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Supporting clients with personal care, medication, meal preparation, and daily living activities.
  • Supervising and mentoring care assistants, ensuring they deliver exceptional care.
  • Conducting care assessments, updating care plans, and liaising with families and healthcare professionals.
  • Monitoring the quality of care provided and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Driving between client locations and ensuring all visits are completed on time.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a care role, ideally in a domiciliary or community care setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A caring, proactive, and professional approach to supporting clients and colleagues.
  • A valid driving license and access to a reliable car (essential).

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £32,500 per annum.
  • Regular 8-hour shifts with alternate weekends off.
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your career.
  • Mileage reimbursement for travel between client locations.
  • A rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference in people's lives.

If you're ready to take on a leadership role in domiciliary care and have a passion for supporting others, we'd love to hear from you!
