Ofsted Registered Manager - New Children's Home in North London

Position: Ofsted Registered Manager
Location: North London
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum plus bonuses

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a dynamic Ofsted Registered Manager to lead and shape a brand-new children's home in North London. This is a unique opportunity to build a nurturing environment that prioritises the safety, well-being, and personal development of young people.

Your Role
As the Registered Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage: Oversee all aspects of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and delivering exceptional care.
  • Develop and implement: Create and maintain a nurturing environment that meets the individual needs of the children.
  • Team leadership: Recruit, train, and support a high-performing team, fostering a positive and supportive culture.
  • Maintain standards: Ensure the home meets and exceeds Ofsted standards, aiming for Outstanding ratings.
  • Financial management: Manage budgets effectively to ensure the home is financially sustainable.

What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: Proven track record in managing children's residential services, with a strong understanding of Ofsted requirements.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of safeguarding practices and the Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
  • Leadership skills: Ability to inspire and lead a team to deliver outstanding care.
  • Passion: A genuine commitment to improving the lives of young people.
