Role Summary:

Sims IVF is currently seeking a Fertility Nurse to join our multidisciplinary IVF team. As a Fertility Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding patient care across all aspects of fertility treatment. This includes everything from investigation consultations and treatment scheduling to phlebotomy, pre- and post-operative care, telephone counselling, and possibly ultrasound scanning.

The Fertility Nurse will work as part of a team that prioritizes patient care in all aspects of fertility treatment. This is a 24-month contract role with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in all aspects of fertility treatment, ensuring excellence in all tasks.
• Assist with investigations, consultations, treatment planning, and scheduling.
• Perform phlebotomy, pre- and post-operative care, and possibly ultrasound scanning.
• Provide telephone counselling and emotional support for patients undergoing fertility treatment.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Educational & Professional Qualifications:

• Academic/Professional Qualifications:
  • Qualified Registered Nurse (RGN) and/or Qualified Registered Midwife (RM).
• Registrations:
  • Current NMBI Registration.
• Relevant Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-registration experience, ideally in women’s health.
  • Fertility experience is desirable but not essential.
• Languages:
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is required.
