Occupational Health Nurse Advisor - 9-Month Contract
Salary: Excellent Umbrella Rates
Contract: Temporary - 9 months

OH Medical is currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse Advisor to join our client's established in-house Occupational Health team on a 9-month temporary contract.
Working 2-3 days per week between Tuesday and Friday, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse looking for a flexible part-time contract within a supportive in-house environment.
The successful candidate will need to be confident working autonomously and, importantly, highly proficient in Health Surveillance, including Audiometry and Spirometry, alongside Management Referrals and Occupational Health Case Management.

- Undertaking Management Referrals and Occupational Health Case Management, providing clear and comprehensive advice to managers and HR
- Delivering Health Surveillance, with a particular focus on Audiometry and Spirometry
- Carrying out health assessments using appropriate questionnaires, clinical measurements and Occupational Health protocols
- Maintaining accurate, confidential and compliant Occupational Health records
- Working closely with HR, Health & Safety, managers, fitness teams and other internal stakeholders
- Providing specialist Occupational Health advice and contributing to relevant meetings
- Supporting and contributing to employee health and wellbeing initiatives
- Promoting the role of Occupational Health across the organisation and building positive relationships with employees and managers
- Supporting the development of Occupational Health policies, procedures and service improvements
- Accurately recording and interpreting Occupational Health data and contributing to reports where required
What We're Looking For
We are particularly interested in hearing from Occupational Health Nurses who can confidently hit the ground running within an established in-house service.
You will ideally have:
- Current NMC registration
- Previous experience working within Occupational Health
- Strong Health Surveillance experience
- Proven competency in Audiometry
- Proven competency in Spirometry
- Experience undertaking Management Referrals
- Occupational Health Case Management experience
- Confidence providing practical and professional advice to managers and HR
- Excellent written communication and Occupational Health report-writing skills
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider Occupational Health and wellbeing team
