What Is The Nurses.co.uk Online Academy?
Our online Academy will help you take control of your own career path, and take care of yourself while you do it.
you'll love it. For instance, where else will you find a polar explorer explaining to nurses how to face challenges, or a yoga expert showing you how to deal with burnout?
The online Academy is actually an extension of our Coaching Academy where we run 1-2-1 coaching for the NHS and private healthcare organisations in the UK.
The online Academy is an extension of that - bringing the same topics and expertise and making it available in different formats, and for free.
What Will You Get (for free)?
It is mostly videos. But there is also a 12 part self-coaching programme that you can read. That programme is CPD Certified, so you can count the hours towards your revalidation.
The videos are (we think!) excellent. We go out of our way to find experts in all fields who want to share their knowledge for the benefit of the UK nursing workforce. They've created videos, with us, uniquely for this purpose - to provide you with free help and support!
Some of it's a bit wayward, but you'll love it. For instance, where else will you find a polar explorer explaining to nurses how to face challenges, or a yoga expert showing you how to deal with burnout?
We have also commissioned some of our regular community contributors to create Academy videos too.
About this contributor
Nurses.co.uk Founder
I launched Nurses.co.uk (and subsequently Socialcare.co.uk, Healthjobs.co.uk and Healthcarejobs.ie) in 2008. 500 applications are made every day via our jobs boards, helping to connect hiring organisations recruiting for clinical, medical, care and support roles with specialist jobseekers. Our articles, often created by our own audience, shine a light on the career pathways in healthcare, and give a platform to ideas and opinions around their work and jobs.
