Outcomes

To give your lead Nurses the skills to successfully support new colleagues to stay, and stay well

- Provide the tools they need to inspire the next generation of the health and social care workforce

- Enable lead Nurses to impart their experience in the most successful way possible - and ensure they find it a rewarding and fulfilling experience to do so

- Students will learn how they can facilitate a positive working environment

- Understand the difference between Coaching and Mentoring and to facilitate both, when appropriate

Each session will be conducted via Microsoft Teams (booked in advance). Each person will be allocated up to half an hour per session, for six weeks. With one hour for the first session. The ability to book all six sessions at one time is encouraged with a simple scheduling system, dependent on rotas and open to flexibility.

Text and email communication for each participant is also available between calls.

Each participant is held in a psychologically safe space and their conversation is confidential, unless of course they are open to sharing.

Testimonials

Here are some of the comments and opinions from previous attendees (including from the NHS).

great course! I felt as though I gained some valuable coaching skills and loved that we came away with more course material to read

my top takeaway - we are not there to give people answers, we should encourage and question to ensure they make the decisions and take steps themselves

Very little to improve on a great day

The course was really insightful and really exceeded my expectations!

I really learned that valuing the workforce and staff members is key to retention

I liked the relaxed atmosphere and the interaction
